ISWAP Terrorists Attack Yobe Town, Kill One, Burn Vehicles

Ome person has been confirmed dead following an attack by members of the ISWAP in Yobe state.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the insurgents invaded a town in the state in the early hours of Saturday, October 5, destroying vehicles abd properties in the process.

According to reports from Zagazola Makama, a security analyst, the insurgents attacked Geidam town in Yobe state around 3:30 a.m on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Further sources revealed that they unleashed explosives, burning down tow vehicles belonging to customs officials. It was also gathered that they set fire to the grave of khalifa Khalifah Ayiloma, located in Kolori Ward.

Some of the other properties which were attacked include the residence of an elderly watchman, Dahiru Muhammadu, which was attacked

Muhammadu sustained a gunshot wound to the neck and was rushed to Geidam Specialist Hospital, where he was confirmed d@ad.

The police are yet to comment on the incident.
