ISWAP Trains Suicide Bombers For Attack – DSS

The Department of State Services, DSS, has revealed that the terrorist organization Islamic State of West Africa Province, ISWAP, is training suicide bombers in the North-East.

Babagana Bulama, the DSS Director in Adamawa State, stated that the training of suicide bombers is aimed at carrying out a deadly attack soon.

According to Bulama, the DSS learned of the plan through available intelligence.

On Thursday in Maiduguri, Borno State, he spoke at the 2022 1st Zonal Quarterly Conference of State Directors of Security, North-East region.

“However, attacks by insurgents in parts of the zone have recently reduced due to counter-terrorism operations by security forces,” according to Bulama.

According to available intelligence, ISWAP is training suicide bombers with the goal of carrying out lethal attacks on security agencies and vulnerable communities.
