The Governor of Edo state, Governor Godwin Obaseki has emphatically state that he is yet to join any other political party following his abrupt resignation from the All Progressives Congress,APC on Tuesday.

Governor Obaseki took to his official Twitter handle to reveal his present stance even as speculations were rife he has pitched tent with the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

Recall that the incumbent governor of Edo state was disqualified by the screening panel of the APC ahead of the June 22 primary elections of the party.

According to Obaseki, he is currently focused on the fight against the dreaded novel coronavirus and not the choice of what platform to contest the upcoming gubernatorial elections.
