The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has paid tribute to the country’s women’s national team, the Super Falcons on the occasion of the International Women’s Day.
The NFF celebrated the Super Falcons on their official Twitter handle with a message and also two pictures.

The Falcons are Africa’s most successful women’s national team in history.
They have won the African title nine times more than any other nation, and have also attended every edition of the FiFA Women’s World Cup.
Randy Waldrum’s side will compete at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand in June 2023.
International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
