IYC Congratulates Ogbe-Ijoh Monarch, Mobene III on 9th Coronation Anniversary

The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Western Zone has extended heartfelt congratulations to the traditional ruler of the Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, Pere Couple Oromoni, Mobene III, on the occasion of his 9th coronation anniversary.

The IYC, in a congratulatory message through its Information Officer, Comrade Tare Magbei, celebrated the monarch’s leadership and dedication to the progress of the Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom.

The IYC lauded the Pere’s role in fostering peace, unity, and development in the region, noting that his reign has brought stability and prosperity to the people.

“On behalf of the Ijaw Youth Council Western Zone, we felicitate with His Royal Majesty, Pere Couple Oromoni, Mobene III, as he marks his 9th year on the throne. His unwavering commitment to promoting Ijaw culture and protecting the rights of his people is commendable,” the statement read.

The IYC further expressed appreciation for the monarch’s contributions toward ensuring peaceful coexistence within the Ijaw communities and neighbouring ethnic groups, describing him as a beacon of hope and wisdom.

The council emphasized that the Pere’s leadership has been instrumental in advancing the socio-economic development of the Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom.

As Pere Oromoni, Mobene III, celebrates his coronation anniversary, the IYC Western Zone reaffirmed its support and pledged continued collaboration in the pursuit of peace and progress in the region.

The traditional ruler, who ascended the throne in 2015, is widely respected for his efforts in strengthening cultural values and advocating for the rights of the Ijaw people within the Niger Delta.
