The Zonal Electoral Committee has commenced collation of delegates list ahead of the Ijaw Youth Council election in Western Zone.
This is as the electoral umpire reminds the 24 Clans across Delta, Edo and Ondo States to duly submit signed approves delegates ahead of the polls.
In a terse statement on Thursday, ZECO Secretary, Icon-James Tam, the Committee said;
“This is a quick reminder that submission of delegate list from the 24 clans has commence since yesterday in line with the schedule of activities for the conduct of the zonal elections.
“From our schedule of activities, submission of the delegates list with mandatory requirement of a woman per clan start 15th -17th of May, 2024, hence the ZECO call on clans who are yet to do so to comply between today and tomorrow being the last day at Eliko hotel,warri Delta state.”
The IYC Western Zone elections are billed for June 5, 2024 at a yet to be disclosed venue.
