The Ijaw Youth Council, Western Zone, has harped on unity among Ijaws and development in Ijaw communities in the zone.

The youth body also charged Ijaws to massively turn out to partake in the ongoing voters registration exercise in Edo and Ondo States.

The call formed part of resolutions contained in a communique drawn at the end of the inaugural meeting of the 9th executives of the zone.

The communique signed by Comrades Nicholas Igarama – Chairman, Ebi Joshua Olowolayemo – Secretary, and Tare Magbei – Information Officer respectively, also tasked governors of Delta, Edo and Ondo States to prioritize development in the Ijaw areas.
