Comrade Oyinkuro Wazo Zikurebai, the Chairman of the Ijaw Youth Council, Gbaramatu Clan, has announced plans to host colleagues from other clans in Western Zone.
Zikurebai, fondly referred to as the Global Chairman, announced this via a terse statement on Thursday.
According to the announcement, the parley will hold on Sunday May 26, 2024, by 12 pm at the popular Eliko Hotel, Uvwie, Delta State.
The IYC Western Zone consists of Delta, Edo and Ondo States.

Clans that make up the zone include; Apoi, Arogbo, Gbaraun, Okomu, Furupa, Egbema, Olodiama, Gbaramatu, Ogulagha, Iduwini, Diebiri and Obotebe Clans.
Others are Ogbolubiri, Ngbilebiri, Seimbiri, Operemor, Tuomo, Akugbene-Mein, Kabowei, Kumbo, Ogbe-Ijoh, Isaba, Zadobiri, and Tarakiri Clans.
Meanwhile, transition elections for zone are billed for June 5 at a venue still to be announced by the Zonal Electoral Committee (ZECO).
