Nigerian digital creator Izzy Ogbeide, who recently faced criticism from actress Doris Ogala over remarks about Phyna, has once again sparked conversation online.
In a recent clip, Izzy compared Priscilla Ojo’s traditional wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux with Temi Otedola’s nuptials to musician Mr Eazi.

She suggested that Temi’s wedding leaned toward a “white wedding” style, while Priscilla’s event fully embraced African traditions. According to Izzy, Priscilla’s celebration was the type of wedding many mothers hope their daughters will have, highlighting family pride and cultural significance.
Izzy added that many young women aim to bring similar joy to their mothers—like Iyabo Ojo’s daughter—but argued that Temi Otedola’s ceremony did not convey the same traditional sentiment.
She stated: “Otedola wedding be like Oyinbo wedding e no speak English talkless of Yoruba, the marriage no speak pidgin, I no see am, it’s not a Nigerian wedding, it’s like white people wedding, the wedding can’t stand compared to Priscilla Ojo wedding, Priscilla wedding class was crying, Africa was crying, beauty was crying, owambe was crying, everything they know about Nigeria was crying.”
The video quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions online, with some agreeing with her assessment and others challenging her comparisons.
