Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has revealed that Chelsea is yet to address their striker challenge despite spending about £600m over the last two transfer windows.
Caragher said this after Chelsea made a poor performance in a 0-0 draw against Fulham in Friday’s Premier League tie at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea spent a whooping sum of £320 million in the just-concluded January transfer window in addition to the players recruited in the summer, bringing co-owner Todd Boehly’s spending a sum of £566 million since he took over the west London club last summer.

Three of the new players, including £107m Premier League record signing, Enzo Fernandez as well as Mykhailo Mudryk and Benoit Badiashile, all started for Graham Potter’s side in Friday’s clash with Fulham.
Speaking after the game, Carragher told Sky Sports:
“The thing that leaves you scratching your head a little bit is they have not brought a striker in, they have spent 5 or 600 million.
“There is nothing really there right now. Aubameyang’s not in the Champions League squad either, it does feel really glaring that that one big position for them has not been addressed.”
