Super Eagles defender Jamilu Collins has sealed a move to German 3. Liga side FC Erzgebirge Aue on a free transfer.

The 31-year-old left-back signed for the club after leaving Sky Bet Championship side Cardiff City at the end of last season.

He spent three years with the Welsh side but battled persistent injuries that limited his game time.
Despite those setbacks, he made 43 league appearances for the Bluebirds and offered steady experience down the left flank.
This move marks a return to Germany. Jamilu Collins spent five years at SC Paderborn, where he helped the team win promotion to the Bundesliga.
Now he aims to rekindle that form in the German lower leagues and help Aue strengthen their defence.
At Erzgebirge Aue he will wear the number 29 shirt and should boost the left side.
