Former Lagos PDP governorship candidate and lead visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, Mr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 as “unstoppable” if he decides to run.
Adediran, who officially announced his defection from the PDP on March 3, made the declaration during a homecoming rally in the Ojo area of Lagos on Friday.
He stated that his current political mission is to support and work towards the re-election of President Tinubu. “Our conviction to come back home is a result of the reforms that Mr President is doing,” he said.

He particularly commended Tinubu’s removal of fuel subsidy, calling it a bold and selfless decision. “Removal of fuel subsidy makes Tinubu a selfless President because he would have ordinarily allowed the status quo to remain to secure a second term in office. The President is poised to do what is best for the country, and the reforms are yielding results for the country now,” Adediran said.
The politician emphasised that although he did not win the 2023 governorship election as the PDP candidate, his efforts had paved the way for increased political inclusion of Badagry division within the APC.
“That is why we are going to do everything humanly possible to make sure we work for his re-election. Our priority is to ensure that we see to how this man will return in 2027 to further reposition the country,” he added.

Also welcoming him, Olushola Idowu, Chairman of Ojo Local Government, said Adediran’s comeback is a major boost for the APC in the area.
Kayode Robert, the state commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, also lauded Adediran’s courage and foresight.
