Quenton Marselles Brown was nabbed by Las Vegas Metro Police, booked into the Clark County Detention Center and appeared in court, where bail was set at $300,000.
According to a police report obtained by News 3, witnesses told the officers that the matter descended from the 57-year-old Brown having ‘dinged’ the door of a neighboring vehicle while exiting his SUV.
The report stated that the matter escalated, with Brown alleged to have stabbed the victim multiple times while the victim had his back turned to him.
The victim suffered wounds in the back and upper right chest and a defensive wound on his hand and was brought to the hospital.
Brown was considered a fugitive but was finally tracked and arrested by the police.
Brown’s lawyer, Arnold Weinstock, stated that Brown “was trying to defend himself” and that the $300,000 bond was too high.
Meanwhile, Police investigations continue and no more details will be released at this time beyond the allegations of attempted murder.
