Jigawa: PDP, SDP Lose Members To APC

At least 550 members of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and Social Democratic Party, SDP have dumped their parties and joined the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.

The defection occurred in Gamsarka ward, Auyo local government area of Jigawa State.

Chairman of the party, Sale Muhammad Ganuwa disclosed this while addressing party loyalists at the ward headquarters in Gamsarka.

Muhammad, who welcomed the new members into the APC, also assured the new members of justice and fairness.

Leader of the decampees, Muhammad Umar made it known that they decided to join the ruling party because of its good policies and programs.
