Joe Biden To Pardon US Military Personnel Convicted Of Homosexuality

The President of the United States Of America, Joe Biden has revealed that he plans to issue a pardon to those affected by the homo sexuality ban.

Recall that the United state, as well as countries like Nepal and Thailand have embraced homosexuality and same sex marriages.

In recent news, the president released a statement on Wednesday, June 26 stating that he is “righting a historic wrong”, and all that were convicted and discharged od their duties as a military personnel are pardoned.

 

Biden said;

“Despite their courage and great sacrifice, thousands of LGBTQI+ service members were forced out of the military because of their sexual orientation or gender identity,” the statement read. Some of these patriotic Americans were subject to court-martial, and have carried the burden of this great injustice for decades,”
