Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez has shared his thoughts on Lionel Messi’s potential retirement as the Copa America approaches.
Lionel Messi has been in remarkable form since the start of the new Major League Soccer season, scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists in just 10 games for Inter Miami.
When asked about Messi’s future with the Argentina national team, Alvarez expressed his hope that the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner would continue to play.
He said, “Let’s hope so. He will decide until when, but hopefully, he will. We want him to be there.”
