Julius Pondi an Impactful Representative – David Ekereokosu

A former Commissioner for Oil and Gas in Delta State, Chief David Ekereokosu has hailed the lawmaker representing Burutu Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Julius Pondi for impactful representation.

Ekereokosu, who currently serves as an Executive Assistant to the Delta State Government, made the commendation while speaking at the unveiling of Congress Newspaper on Friday, in Warri.

Speaking in the place of the current Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Emman Amgbaduba, Ekereokosu lauded the two-term lawmaker for always being a voice on the floor of the Green Chamber.

Giving accolades to Pondi, who was chairman of the occasion, Ekereokosu said;

“Julius Pondi is an impactful representative. Anytime he talks on the floor, he makes me proud.”

Julius Pondi has been a representative of Burutu Federal Constituency since 2015, when he defeated then incumbent Franc Enekorogha at the polls.

While he is yet to make an official declaration for 2023, speculations are rife Pondi will contest for a third term.

So far, the Burutu Council Chairman, Godknows Angele and Franc Enekorogha have officially declared to contest the seat.
