Nollywood actress Jumoke George has received a life-changing surprise after opening up about years of hardship.

The screen veteran, who recently revealed she once lived in a church for up to six years, has now been gifted a four-bedroom duplex, a plot of land, and a sport utility vehicle (SUV).

Jumoke had spoken candidly about her difficult journey—surviving on church meals, battling serious health issues, enduring the trauma of a missing child, and struggling with heavy debt. Her story moved many, prompting a wave of support from within and beyond the entertainment industry.

Fellow actress Bisola Bayo shared the heartwarming development via Instagram, where she announced that the home, land, and SUV were presented to Jumoke by Ayokmag Properties. A video from the event showed emotional moments as Jumoke received the generous gifts.

Expressing gratitude, Bisola wrote, “We presented a 4 bedroom duplex, an SUV and a plot of land from @ayokmagproperties1 @ayokmag to @jumokegeorge. Thank you to everyone who made this dream a reality. I’m grateful. This wouldn’t have happened without your contributions.”

The surprise has touched many across social media, with fans and colleagues praising the compassion and unity shown within the Nollywood community.

Nigerian National Sentenced to Over Five Years for $2.5m Fraud in U.S.

Kingsley Utulu, a 38-year-old Nigerian, has been sentenced by a U.S. federal court to five years and three months in prison for leading a large-scale identity theft and wire fraud operation that defrauded the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and private individuals of more than $2.5 million.

The sentencing was announced by Jay Clayton, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Christopher Raia, FBI Assistant Director in New York. Utulu faced charges including aggravated identity theft and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
