Once again, residents have expressed shock and resentment, after finding a lifeless baby in a refuse dump.
The residents were said to have found a day-Old lifeless baby in their refuse dump in Kobi Street near Wunti Gate in Bauchi.

A resident, who confirmed the incident said the baby was wrapped in two black leather bags and abandoned behind a local shop.

A community leader, who confirmed the incident to journalist said the body was recovered on Friday morning.
“I was informed that a baby girl’s lifeless body was dumped behind Alhaji Babangida Mai Coca-Cola’s shop. When I arrived, I saw the baby tied inside two black leather bags. I immediately alerted the Mai Gunduma and reported the matter to the Police at Township Station”
The police have however retrieved the body, and have commenced investigation.
This comes weeks after residents recovered a day-old baby in Niger State.
