Men of the Nigerian custom service have seized tons of cannabis from two suspects.
According to reports, the body recovered a total of 4,973 loaves of Cannabis sativa, from the two yet-to-be-identified suspects.

Confirming this in an X post on Friday , February 28, the NCS said the suspects were arrested by the Western Marine Command, of the bod.
It added that 195 bottles of 300ml codeine recovered in a separate operation has been handed to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.
You will recall just last week, on Friday 21st February 2025 to be precise, the command informed members of the press of the seizure of 53 sacks of Cannabis sativa,” Bamisaiye stated.
He revealed that in another operation on Monday, February 24, a patrol team intercepted two suspects within the Badagry axis, concealing 29 loaves of Cannabis sativa in a sack of rebagged rice.
“This success is a result of strong inter-agency collaboration. No single agency can win this fight alone; together, we are making a real impact,” Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Paul Bamisaiye said.
