Just In: Fuel Tanker Explodes In Niger State [VIDEO]

• Yet another fire accident has occurred, as a fuel tanker goes up in flames.

• A truck used to convey the fuel was said to have caught fire, leading to the explosion.

Explosion has rocked the Kontagora Local Government Area of Niger State, after a petrol tanker went up in flames.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the tanker exploded while offloading it’s content at A.A Rano filling station in Hannun Riga, Kontagora.

According to eyewitness, the tanker was offloading Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), better known as petrol around 7pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025.

Also confirming the incident to Daily Trust, an eyewitness, identified as Abba Mohammed said;

Fire Service personnel are currently doing their best to contain the fire, though the situation remained tense as the fire continued to spread,”

He added that people fled for their lives, and no casualty was recorded.
