JUST IN: German to Visit Nigeria for Official Three-Day Visit

German President Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier is set to arrive in Nigeria for a three-day official visit, scheduled from December 10 to 12, 2024.

During his stay, President Steinmeier will engage with key Nigerian leaders, including President Tinubu and Dr. Alieu Omar Touray, the President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission.

The German leader will also meet prominent figures in the Nigerian arts and culture scene, including renowned artist Dr. Nike Okundaye, known as Mama Nike of the Nike Art Gallery, and Nobel Laureate Professor Wole Soyinka.

Steinmeier will be accompanied by a delegation of industry leaders from Germany’s most successful sectors, including IT, high-tech, and energy.

As part of his visit, the German President will also participate in various events aimed at promoting shared interests between the two nations.
