Governor Seyi Makinde has received approval from the Federal Government to transform Ibadan Airport into an international airport.

This upgrade is set to enhance the airport’s capacity to handle international flights, leading to increased economic growth and improved connectivity for the region.

The project is expected to boost the state’s economy and establish Ibadan as a logistics hub, complementing the Ibadan Inland Dry Port.
