CBN to Convert Dormant Accounts Into Unclaimed Balances Trust Fund
The CBN said dormant accounts will be converted to an unclaimed balances trust fund

The Central Bank of Nigeria, on Tuesday, July 19, raised interest rate from 13% to 14 per cent

Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the apex bank, disclosed this after the committee’s meeting which was held at the CBN headquarters in Abuja.

Emefiel noted that the hike in interest rate would help tame rising inflation.
