JUST IN: JAMB Withholds Results of 39,834 Candidates

JUST IN: JAMB Withholds Results of 39,834 Candidates | Daily Report Nigeria

A new information from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has revealed that almost 40 thousand results were withheld.

Daily Report Nigeria recalls that the 2025 JAMB results were released, with a total of 1.9 million applications registered.

A controversial statement released by the examination board revealed that about 75% of the candidates got less than 200 in the just concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Confirming the latest update on Friday , May 9, the JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede said following investigations and discovery of malpractice and irregularities, a total of 39,834 candidates’ results were withheld.

He also disclosed that while 41,000 underage candidates registered for the exercise, 467 met the prescribed minimum score, adding that 50 were engaged in a cheating scandal.
