Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Taskforce, have arrested several people in the state.
The people arrested are said to be homeless individuals found in different parts of Lagos state including under the bridge.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that a total of 74 people were arrested in the raid which occurred on the Lagos Island on monday, May 5.
Confirming the arrest, the state commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab said the people would be arraigned in court soon.
He said;
“Earlier today at about 1a.m, Tuesday, 6th May, 2025 the Lagos State Environmental Taskforce team embarked on its usual clean up enforcement operation around Lekki axis in Lagos Island.
The areas visited during the operation includes; Falomo bridge, Eko Hotel roundabout, Oniru Beach, Law School, Lekki Phase 1&2 and 1004 areas where the presence of some undesirable elements was noticed.
During the raid exercise, a total number of 74 individuals were arrested; 72 male and 2 female, and sanity was restored in all the areas.
All the Suspects will be charged to court accordingly.”
