One officer of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has passed away following a violent altercation with suspected Internet fraudsters.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the team had attempted to boycott a group of Internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo boys when it happened.

Reports from Peoples Gazette revealed that the anti graft agency had launched the operation on Friday morning, before the incident.
