JUST IN: Ramadan Ends as Shawwal Moon is Sighted

The holy month of Ramadan has come to an end, as the Shawwal moon has been sighted.

This information reportedly comes from som of the 10 astronomical observatories in Saudi Arabia, which is used to check the end and beginning of an Islamic calender.

Following this discovery, the Ramadan fasting ends today, March 29, and the annual Eid Al Fitr celebration starts from Sunday, March 30.

The month of Ramadan is undoubtedly the most reverend month in the Islamic calender, as it is also one of the five pillars of Islam.

The last ten days is also known as the moment of communion and worship between Muslims and Allah.
