The former Super Eagles defender made the comment after Nigeria drew 1-1 with South Africa.
“From this outcome, we are going to miss consecutive World Cup tournaments. This is demarketing and devaluing us. I’ll be surprised if we still qualify for this World Cup.” – Oshaniwa said.
Oshaniwa criticises deep structural problems that need to be resolved straight away.
Nigeria has appeared at six World Cups but failed to reach 2022 after a playoff loss to Ghana.
With this qualifying cycle proving tougher, officials must move quickly to steady the team.
He called for a full revamp of coaching, youth development and football administration, demanding clear targets and firm deadlines.
