Uba Sani, Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the upper chamber, on Tuesday declared his intention to contest the Kaduna State governorship seat in 2023.
Sani, in his declaration statement at the Kaduna Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Tuesday, explained that he needs the support of all members of the party.
According to him: “I came to inform you of my intention to contest for the governorship seat under the APC. I also need your support to achieve this aim.”
Senator Uba Sani, who was part of Governor Nasir El-rufai’s cabinet since 2015, was first appointed Special Adviser, Political matters.

The lawmaker contested and won a senatorial seat in 2019.
