A Councilor in Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Abdul Adamu Kinkiba, has been arrested with AK-47 around the Giwa Local Government Area of the state.
According to Daily Trust, the area where Kinkiba was apprehended is close to a den of bandits.
This report was confirmed by the chairman of Soba Local Government Area, Engineer Suleiman Yahaya Richifa.
Richifa made it known that the suspect is the councilor representing Kinkiba ward in the council.
He, however, refused to reveal more information regarding the issue. He said “I’m in serious grief about the news. Please allow me to overcome my shock.”
