Samuel Aruwan, Kaduna state Commissioner, Internal Security and Home Affairs, has debunked reports circulating online, alleging that hundreds of bandits had laid siege on travellers on the Kaduna-Zaria.

Aruwan in a statement described the reports as fake, urging the public to disregard such messages as the road is safe for motorists and other road users.

“The attention of the Kaduna State Government has been drawn to a widely circulated message advising citizens not to enter or exit Zaria, alleging the presence of hundreds of bandits at Dumbi and Jaji along the route to Zaria.”
