Kanayo O. Kanayo, a veteran Nigerian actor, has taken to social media to challenge those spreading internet rumours about his death.
In a video posted to his Instagram page, the Nollywood legend cursed anyone who announced his death, threatening them with the same fate in seven days.

He scoffed at the absurdity of trolls printing obituaries and tagging him with a “RIP” caption next to photos of himself.
Kanayo pondered why some people have developed the habit of wishing ill will on actors and entertainers, oblivious to the fact that they have a life and a family.
He said:
“You think because you have access to the social media, you can publish ANYTHING. Adieu to you. You will not live past the next seven days.”
