Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano North Senatorial District have reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring a decisive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin in the 2027 general elections.
The pledge was made during a stakeholders’ meeting convened by Senator Barau Jibrin on Saturday in Kano, attended by party leaders, elected officials, and grassroots politicians.

The meeting aimed to strengthen internal cohesion and consolidate Kano North as a strategic APC stronghold.

Speaking at the event, Senator Barau emphasized, “By God’s grace, we will deliver landslide votes for President Tinubu, Governor Abba, and all APC candidates in 2027.”
To support grassroots mobilisation, 26 cars and 141 motorcycles were donated to chairmen, vice-chairmen, councillors, and secretaries across the district.
Senator Barau explained that empowering local leaders is critical for effective coordination, outreach, and voter engagement.
Other party members, including Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe and local government chairmen, pledged their loyalty and cooperation, highlighting Senator Barau’s transformative impact on Kano North.
The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to back President Tinubu, Senator Barau, and Governor Abba in the upcoming elections, underscoring the district’s unified strategy ahead of 2027.
