American rapper Kanye West has announced his retirement from professional music, expressing uncertainty about his next steps.
In a recent conversation with Rich The Kid, shared via Instagram story on Tuesday, the ‘Ye’ artist wrote, “I am retiring from professional music. Not sure what else to do.”
Rich The Kid responded urging Kanye not to retire, highlighting the cultural impact of their collaborations and encouraging him to continue creating music. However, it’s unclear if West accepted his advice.

Kanye West, renowned for his diverse musical styles, began his career as a producer in Chicago and gained fame for co-producing Jay-Z’s ‘The Blueprint’ in 2001. He later released his critically acclaimed debut album ‘The College Dropout’ in 2004, which featured the Billboard Hot 100 number-one single ‘Slow Jamz.’
