The Real Madrid striker finished ahead of Sadio Mane, Kevin De Bruyne, and Robert Lewandoski.
Barcelona midfielder, Gavi was named Best Young Player to take home the Kopa Trophy.
Barcelona Feminine midfielder, Alexis Putellas won the Best Women’s Player to claim the Women’s Ballon d’Or for a second consecutive year.
Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois won Best Goalkeeper to claim the Yachine Trophy.
Sadio Mane, who finished second behind Benzema in the Ballon d’Or was honored with the inaugural Socrates Award for his charity contributions.
Also, Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski was honored with the Gerd Muller award for top scorer.
