King Charles III Diagnosed With Cancer

King Charles III of United Kingdom has been diagnosed with cancer.

This was announced on Monday by the Buckingham Palace announced, Daily Report Nigeria can confirm.

Announcing the diagnosis, the palace also revealed that the monarch is undergoing treatment for the ailment.

The statement further revealed that during a recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, medical professionals identified an additional area of concern.

Subsequent diagnostic tests confirmed the presence of cancer, prompting the initiation of treatment.

Despite the diagnosis, the palace emphasised that the king maintains an optimistic outlook and is eager to resume his full public duties as soon as possible.

“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted.

“Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” the palace said in a statement, adding that he had begun treatment.

The king “remains wholly positive” and “looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible,” the statement read in part.
