Kogi Lawmaker, Omiata Is Dead | Daily Report Nigeria

The member representing Yagba East Local Government Area of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Jimoh Musa Omiata is dead.

A family source reveal that the lawmaker died in Lagos Hospital having battled with an undisclosed ailment for a while.

Checks held that Omiata was the first person to ever be re-elected to the State House of Assembly from the State constituency.

Omiata became a two-time member of the State House of Assembly from the Igbagun community in the Yagba East LGA of the State.

He was until his death, chairman, House Committee on Information, Strategy and Publicity of the House of Assembly.
