Kogi Poll: NSCDC To Deploy 3,000 Operatives | Daily Report Nigeria

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kogi State Command, has disclosed that three thousand of its operatives will be deployed to provide security during the November 11 gubernatorial election.

Ahmad Gandi, the state commandant of the NSCDC made this known to journalists on Wednesday in Lokoja.

According to him, “The Command has concluded plans to give adequate coverage and no stone will be left unturned to ensure that the election is hitch-free.”

He added that, since he assumed duty in the state, he has been able to prosecute 24 cases and secure over 90 per cent convictions.
