Mustapha Shu’aib, a prominent ally of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) 2023 presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has officially resigned from the party.
Shu’aib announced his exit on the grounds that he intends to explore a new political path and expand his influence in public service.

The young politician contested the Bida North Constituency seat in the Niger State House of Assembly during the 2023 general elections, emerging as the youngest candidate in that election cycle.

He explained that the decision followed extensive consultations with political associates, community leaders, and supporters across his constituency.
Sources close to Shu’aib, quoted by TVC, clarified that his resignation should not be interpreted as a withdrawal from politics.
