Kwara State Government is ready to employ more than four thousand, seven hundred new teachers, Daily Report Nigeria can confirm.

The new yeachers are to fill the existing vacancies in both Public Primary and Secondary Schools across the state to enhance teaching and learning.

It is to meet up with its desire that the State Government has opened its official portal for the recruitment of new sets of teachers who will fill in the existing vacancies in the affected schools

This followed the nullification of the earlier exercise which threw away over two thousand four hundred candidates who patronised the portal for a similar exercise.

The administration of Governor Abdul-Razaq Abdul-Rahman will ensure that the right people are employed as teachers who will teach Pupils and Students in the State.

The source noted that the previous recruitment process was entirely faulty with malpractices and favor seeking, thereby compromising the set standard by the present administration in the educational sector of the State.

The administration assured the people that those involved in the malpractices would be punished accordingly.

Already, the state Government had set aside over fourteen billion naira to be spent on the project in the next two years.

The Government is also working out modalities of making sure that the repositioning of the educational system is not distracted in any way
