Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has praised Chelsea’s Reece James, calling him the best right-back in the world.
Walker highlighted James’s comprehensive skill set, saying he embodies all the qualities of an ideal right-back.
Despite frequent injuries, James has proven himself as one of the Premier League’s top defenders since his debut for Chelsea in September 2019.

In an episode of the “You’ll Never Beat Kyle Walker” podcast, Walker said, “Reece James. He’s just got everything. Everything. If I could make the complete right-back, it would be him. He can defend, attack, he’s technical, can use both feet, he’s a threat in dead-ball situations, he’s quick.”
James was appointed Chelsea captain after Cesar Azpilicueta left at the end of last season.
Surprisingly, the 24-year-old was not included in Gareth Southgate’s 33-man provisional England squad for this summer’s Euros in Germany.
