Devotha, a young physically challenged woman, has built her mother a house with the money she earned from menial work.
The lady was born in 1999 with her feet backward, which had an impact on her life, but she refused to give up despite the odds.
According to Afrimax, who produced a documentary about the lady’s life, Devotha’s handicap made her a target for ridicule and rejection.

Her father eventually joined the rejection train, abandoning Devotha and her mother to start a new family somewhere else.
Reports noted that Devotha was unable to finish her schooling due to financial problems.
She went to technical school with the help of a village priest where she learned about construction and resolved to build a house for her mother as they had no place of their own.
Additionally, she worked menial jobs like laundry to earn the money she needed to purchase a plot of land and begin construction. Although it has been roofed, it is far from finished.
The mother, on the other hand, was taken aback by the lady’s kindness and couldn’t help but compliment her.
She said:
“I didn’t know that Devotha could do this for me.
“She has spent 8 years doing this and she did more than enough.”
She is my hero and I am very grateful and will always be grateful.”
Devotha also admitted to doing all of the construction work alone.
She said:
“I bought the iron sheets, got the wood and everything on this house.”
