The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday announced Tayo Bamgbose-Martins, as the new Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development.
Daily Report reported earlier that the former commissioner, Idris Salako, resigned on Monday, following the collapse of a seven-storey building on Victoria Island.

The State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotoso, disclosed this on Wednesday in Alausa, Ikeja.
“I am here to tell you that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has redeployed Tayo Bamgbose-Martins as the new Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development. He said
“He is to replace Idris Salako, who resigned. So, Bamgbose-Martins is coming into a new realm of experience coming from the Ministry of Special Duties.
“Bamgbose-Martins is an astute civil engineer with over 33 years of professional experience as a public servant.”
