The Lagos State House of Assembly has confirmed 15 out of the second batch of 18 commissioner-nominees sent by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The confirmation and rejection occurred following the report presented by the Chief Whip and Chairman of the screening committee, Mojeed Fatai.
The lawmakers rejected the nominations of Olalere Odusote and Samuel Egube, while the confirmation of Sule Akibu was postponed for another legislative day.

Speaker Mudashiru Obasa praised the committee for their thorough screening, a sentiment echoed by the other lawmakers present on Thursday.
