The Lagos State Government has warned the general public to refrain from sharing the sex tape of pupils of Chrisland Schools engaging in an “immoral act”.

This follows report of alleged gang rape of a 10-year-old pupil by her classmates when the school took part in the World School Games in Dubai last month.

The Lagos State Government has since ordered an indefinite shutdown of the school, while the victim was suspended by the school authorities.

The state government warned citizens that sharing such footage amounts to child pornography and could attract up to a 14-year jail term.

“We also use this mediumm to remind the general public of the implications pertaining to engaging in any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a child committing an offence.

“[They are] liable to a custodial sentence of fourteen (14) years. This includes producing, distributing, receiving, or possessing an image of child pornography,” the statement read in part.

All branches of the Chrisland Schools in Lagos were by the statement put on indefinite shutdown.
