The man, who was earlier caught on camera dumping refuse, was apprehend and prosecuted by the Lagos state government.
A man has been remanded in the infamous Kirikiri prison, for illegal waste dumping in Lagos state.
Daily Report Nigeria recalls the state government calling for help, and putting a bounty on the man, identified as Olawale Ogunbadejo, after he was caught disposing waste on the Alapere Link Bridge on Wednesday, May 21.

In a new post by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s Senior Special Assistant on Print Media, Wale Ajetunmobi on X, he wrote;
Mr Olawale Ogunbadejo, caught disposing of refuse on the road, has just been remanded in Kiri-Kiri Prison by the Magistrate’s Court till June 26
He was reportedly arrested by the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) and the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC), also known as KAI.
The court ordered the accused by remanded in the Kirikiri prison till June 26, which he would get a hearing for the case.
