Following the death of two students of Bab Fafunwa Millennium School, Ojodu, formerly Ojodu Grammar Schoolin, the Lagos State Government has declared that the school will be shut down until January 2022.
Folashade Adefisayo, the state Commissioner for Education, made the announcement on Wednesday , December 8,
when she visited the school.
Students of the state have been protesting after a truck killed two of their schoolmates on Tuesday, December 7.

According to Adefisayo, the state government will release an “explicit” statement later in the day containing an official death count and details of what actually led to the tragic accident.
