In sheer determination to alleviate open defecation, Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC), yesterday , kept vigil along Lagos-Ibadan express way.

This was disclosed in a post by Lagos Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on his X handle earlier today.

Wahab disclosed that LAGESC Officials, in collaboration with Lagos Taskforce, paraded Berger axis in an attempt to apprehend open defectors

“Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps @LAGESCOfficial and the Taskforce team yesterday parading through the night on the notorious Berger axis to curb open defecation and other environmental nuisance.”

Recall that the Commissioner had issued stern warning to perpetrators of the environmental degrading act following the cleanup of the Lagos-Ogun border area by LAGESC and OGESC officials.
