Barcelona have delivered a breathtaking comeback to defeat Atlético Madrid 4-2 on Sunday, reclaiming the top spot in LaLiga.

Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal were the heroes of the night, scoring crucial goals in the dying moments to overturn a two-goal deficit.

Barcelona’s Title Hopes Stay Alive With a Stunning Turnaround

Barcelona and Real Madrid are now tied on 60 points, but Barça holds an advantage with a game in hand due to their postponed fixture against Osasuna.

Atlético Madrid, on the other hand, remains third with 56 points from 28 matches.

The match started in Atlético’s favor, with Julián Álvarez breaking the deadlock right before halftime after an excellent counterattack from Antoine Griezmann and Giuliano Simeone.

The home team extended their lead in the 70th minute when Alexander Sørloth finished from close range after a well-timed pass from Conor Gallagher.

Barcelona, however, wasted no time in mounting their response.

Robert Lewandowski capitalized on a precise cross from Iñigo Martínez to reduce the deficit.

Shortly after, Ferran Torres delivered a brilliant header off Raphinha’s assist to level the score.
